We think the campsite's ecological approach is very good and it's amazing what you have already achieved there... and are still trying to do. There is everything you need here. From a small organic store to fitness, wellness, candle pouring, beautiful nature, peace, relaxation etc. A more detailed assessment will follow later when we, as permanent campers, have gained a more accurate picture of everything. The lighting on the way to the sanitary block was also not quite adequate and we were out and about with a flashlight. But these are small things!Our wild and wonderful fall vacationI was traveling with my 86-year-old mother and we had a few lovely days under the birch trees by the lake. Despite the stormy weather, we were mobile and out and about - thanks to the great rental car from Ferienpark Seehof - and we visited Schwerin in Wismar. The campsite was as good as asleep in the... fall, but we still felt well looked after and not lonely or alone. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and we felt comfortable at all times. The location is great: you can be at Schwerin Castle in half an hour via cycle... paths (!). Many activities and excursions are possible here. The good network of cycle paths takes you as far as Wismar (and back by train...).
When the additional buildings are completed, the CP will be even better developed - shorter walking distances.
Here the permanent campers are well mixed with the tourist pitches - creates a cozy atmosphere.

For example, we couldn't find peace and quiet with Wi-Fi and that's why there isn't any. Instead, you could do useful things here in the creative center, such as making pottery or candles. The indoor games hall is dusty and... unkempt. To use the gym, I have to pay extra money to have someone look after me because some equipment that nobody needs has to be adjusted. The store sells so-called regional organic products! -Highest prices for eggs and vegetables. The expensive homemade "organic" ice cream, for example, tastes wonderfully like organic water. Incidentally, I can recommend the entrance to the sanitary building and the vicinity of the washbasins for observing nature, e.g. cute eight-legged animals. But in return - so they say - you would be doing your bit for the climate on a great sustainable campsite...? For example, I would offset 10 kg of CO2 per day...? ???... I didn't even know that I breathe less here than anywhere else???... -and then every hour a tractor with a water truck drives past the pitch, which very "sustainably" distributes lots of water all over the campsite.
