"Great place - Great place with new, clean sanitary facilities, friendly welcome, large pitches, not cheap, E 50 for 2p/night, restaurant store and bread service on site, entertainment program for the children, heated pool, the freeway can be heard when sleeping lightly as mostly west wind in NL

"Great location for an international campsite - We were stranded here looking for a WW pitch for one night. Reception totally chaotic, but helpful. Sanitary well. I didn't want to shower after using the toilet. The location is great if you want to go sightseeing in Delft, Deen Haag, Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Large pitch, small pool to cool off, lake was closed due to blue-green algae.

"Great location! - Very interestingly located place, on foot in 10 minutes:-in the historic center,-in the recreation area with lake and beach,-at Ikea for a snack ;). And yet very quiet and attractively located. The sea can be reached by car in about 25 minutes. Very exciting-clear recommendation!

"What happened here? - As our daughter studied in Delft, I can't tell you how often we stayed at this campsite. And not just for days, but also for weeks. We always felt very comfortable and in good hands. However, what has happened to us now has made my throat swell up quite a bit. For the reasons mentioned above, we didn't book because it was low season. We were then told at reception that there were no more places available. After we had a look, one half of the pitch was completely free. They were "out of service"...why?....the grass surface was badly damaged. Aha...that's exactly where we stood with friends 2 years ago....then the grass surface was fixed with grass grids that could be driven on. After we didn't give up, we were offered 3 pitches on the right-hand side, all completely without sunlight and actually very wet and somewhat damaged. We didn't want them. What we noticed is that there are now mobile homes or chalets everywhere on the site....es suggests that these mobile homes will soon also be on the left-hand (out of service) pitch. You can earn more money with them. The whole thing made us very sad, as we love the area in and around Delft. We then drove on to Zeeland.

You love the freedom of nature, but occasionally you would like to exchange it for the variety of a lively city? One moment you would like to cycle or walk through a peaceful and quiet environment, and on other moments …you would like to visit one of the cultural attractions in the historical centre of Delft or go shopping in The Hague, Rotterdam or Amsterdam. Come and visit Recreatiecentrum Delftse Hout, a 4-star camping- and caravanning park on the eastside of Delft. Within 15 minutes walking, you are at the market square in the centre of Delft. Here, you can visit the Royal family vault at the New Church, shop for hours, relax in the sunshine on a terrace or have diner in one of the many, attractive restaurants. In addition, the campsite is situated in a recreation area where you can ride a bike or go for a walk. The lake in this area is an excellent place to surf, water-ski or go canoeing. If you like fishing, you can -with the right license- go fishing in this lake and in the summer months you can wonderfully relax at the nice sand beach. The unique combination of relaxation in a natural environment and the enjoyable city on walking distance, makes our campsite ideal for a surprising and varied holiday!
