    Wonderful campsite right by the sea
    We really liked the campsite in Akranes, we had a wonderful pitch and were able to experience a fantastic sunset. The staff were very friendly and helpful, also with tips for a hike to a waterfall. The facilities are very good and clean. We would stay here again. Theres and Seppi from Switzerland

    Beautifully situated, weaknesses in cleanliness
    Beautifully situated campsite by the sea. Sleeping with the sound of the sea, wonderful! But the sanitary facilities are too small and too dirty. Fortunately, thanks to our camper van, we didn't have to rely on them.

    Pitch with a view of the sea
    We spent one night here on our tour of Iceland with the motorhome. The campsite is in a quiet location on the edge of the village, directly overlooking the sea. The pitch for motorhomes and caravans is on a large meadow, which was well maintained. The sanitary facilities are, as generally in Iceland, too small and are not sufficient for the many camping guests.
