"Reiner K. from WL // Rating "VERY GOOD" - Reiner K. from WL // Rating "VERY GOOD" If someone - like us - has been visiting Helle & Leif K.'s campsite for 35 years now (last year even twice), there are many reasons for this: A simple booking by phone call or email - always a friendly voice on the phone, followed by a booking confirmation. The reward comes after a 570 km drive - a warm welcome! The pitch is clean and spacious and the nice neighbors are back. Leif checks once again that everything is OK. Lots of lovely staff at the campsite take care of the maintenance and cleanliness - I would rate this with five plus +++++ / or 5 stars. The soul of the campsite is Verner - a very nice person, a veteran of the C. campsite, who still does a lot of work (his favorite thing is to cut the grass with the ride-on mower). Many friends from far away are there every year - not forgetting our Danish friends! Year after year there is something new to see. Many facilities have been renovated! Sanitary facilities, cooking and washing up facilities are cleaned daily - again I would give a full score or 5 stars. Additional kitchen appliances such as freezers, ovens, etc. are available for use free of charge. A large sociable room around a fireplace with several tables and benches is always clean and tidy for everyone. There is also plenty on offer for the little campers: A large safe playground, bouncy castle, petting zoo, go-karting and pony rides on the beach and much more round off the offer. Activities such as barbecuing bread on a stick together for 'big & small' and much more are often on the program. An outdoor pool area with daily cleaning, a soccer pitch for all camping guests - pretty much everything at no extra cost - are particularly good facilities! Adults who would like to ride a quad bike can do so for a fee at the campsite.

"Torsten B. - A great place if you like nature from both sides: the gentle calm and the fierce. The atmosphere on site is incredibly friendly and relaxed. It's nice to be here. There's space for children and activities for them, and at the same time you can easily find space to relax in peace and quiet if that's what you're looking for. It's simply a great place to spend your vacation - all year round.

"Great place - We were here with the caravan and our three dogs. As soon as you enter, you notice a large, new playground and various driving equipment (go-carts), a paradise for children. The pitches are generously distributed over the very large area. They adapt to the terrain, so there are flat and less flat pitches, but all on grass. Putting in pegs is no problem. The pitches are divided into different areas by high wooden walls, which serve as wind protection. The path to the beach goes through the dunes, maybe 500m. So it's easy to reach. But if you stand on the edge of the cliff, there is an extremely steep wooden staircase with a rope railing. Walk very carefully! I would have my doubts with small children. We had to carry our dogs down (luckily they're not that big). There are horses, goats, rabbits and kangaroos on the site! So there's always something to look at. The only downside is the sanitary facilities. They are getting on in years. But clean. Unfortunately, there was only toilet paper in one of the many cabins and it was of the single-ply wrapping paper variety. Better to bring your own. On the other hand, hot showers are free of charge and with a proper tap where you don't have to press the button every three seconds. We stayed at the campsite for two nights and used it as a base for excursions. The location is ideal for this. Overall, we felt very comfortable here and would stay here again. There is a lot to see in the surrounding area and plenty of action for children.

"Simply wonderful and child-friendly!!! - The campsite is a paradise for children. Our daughter was out and about all day... the campsite is not overcrowded and crammed, but loosely "filled". There is a pool and lots of other leisure activities, there is something for all ages. WLAN was also working... The sanitary facilities are older. However, the cleanliness was fine at our time and there were enough of them. Various riding activities can be used. The girls were totally lovely and made an effort with the children. Absolute praise!!! The location is not far from the beach. The site also has pitches with windbreak fences. We recommend it in strong westerly winds and thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Kallmayer family welcomes you to Gl. Klitgaard Camping, beautifully located between the popular holiday towns of Løkken and Lønstrup in the heart of Denmark’s scenic North Sea coast.
