"Great place - Superb atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the swimming area, with its large grass area and many trees and shadow. The restaurant is simple but quite good.

"Unfriendly operator - The campsite warden and his wife really spoiled our vacation. We were traveling as a group. Some arrived before the start of the sacrosanct lunch break (11.30-14.00), others after. He refused to accept registration of the group by those who arrived first. When the rest arrived ten minutes after the start of the lunch break, he forbade them to set up their tents. We lost a day's vacation as a result. Never again. The campsite warden was keen to emphasize that he was not a donkey. But donkeys aren't stupid. Just stubborn.

"Large well-kept place without dogs - Very well-kept, huge grounds, orchards with lawns, partly parceled out, very quiet, rural surroundings, supermarket within walking distance - all very pleasant. And: you can shower just like at home. Without coins with tap on - water on, tap off water off! And now that dog ownership in Germany feels like it has doubled and owners (have to) move from hotel to campsite, this is a wonderful place for (small) children. (without dogs!) Caravan water/waste water points work, but are getting on in years; Pleasantly unregulated site!

"Great place for families with children at really reasonable prices - We were on site with the camper van for 2 nights at short notice. There are about 10 pure motorhome pitches with asphalted pitches. If these are occupied, then you can also go onto the "meadow" to the caravans and tents. No reservations are No reservations are made in advance. When I asked by phone, I was told that there was enough space, which was indeed the case. The food on the campsite is not the best, but there is a great bakery in the village for baguettes and croissants, which is also open on Sunday mornings and can be reached by bike in 2-3 minutes. In the neighboring village (about 1 km from the campsite) there is also a Super U with a good fish counter and very friendly staff. It's easy to explore the area by bike with the children. We took the free ferry across and "cycled" through the Rhine meadows on the German side of the Rhine, a kind of primeval forest in Baden. However, the kids were most excited about the bathing lake. It provides a positive atmosphere from morning to night. There is even a small swimming pool, but it can only be used with a swimming cap. The slides can only be used with swimming trunks, but I am allowed to wear the swimming shorts we usually wear. All in all, really recommended... and if you stick to the rules, you won't be reprimanded by the sometimes rude and unfriendly groundsman (according to various Google reviews) and you'll have a great time.

"Heavenly peace in beautiful early fall - In front of us, the meadow and the bathing lake, deserted. Next to us, three motorhomes and the chicken enclosure: idyllic and quiet in the off-season. It may be different when the site is full. It's a bit of a walk to the sanitary facilities, but they are cleaned with a detergent that leaves a very pleasant scent in the rooms. Cycle tours to Strasbourg along the canal or into the Rhine jungle on the German side (alluvial forests near Rheinhausen - beautiful). The small towns in the area are probably not spectacular, but really pretty.

"ample space, great price/performance ratio - The space available per pitch is TOP, there is room even for the largest motorhome. On-site restaurant very tasty and very reasonably priced. ~1km to the shops - can be easily done on foot. Bicycle, quad rental and much more. Unfortunately, the toilet paper ran out regularly, so it led to long queues at the toilets. Generally clean and well maintained - not always hot water. Dogs not allowed. for 3 nights 2 persons incl. car and tent ~42€ highly recommended
