"Pleasant natural camping in the middle of forest and heathland - Pleasant campground with friendly staff. Car-free. Spacious pitches with sun and shade. Cleaning of sanitary facilities twice a day. In winter two sanitary blocks open. Two closed. Swimming pool covered 12 hours open per day. Located in the middle of nature. You walk in several places of the campsite so forest or heath on. Are in love with this campsite.

"Quiet and relaxing environment, recreation could be better. - Fine, large sites. Lots of shady spots. Beautiful surroundings for nice walks (with or without the dog)! Point of improvement: more recreation in the evening, song bingo was really a letdown. A total of 6 prices! All from Action whose value in total was not more than € 30, € 7.50 paid for 2 tickets with 3 rounds per card. Also the poster said "including snacks", we did not see any snacks and the bar did not know anything about it.

"We were disappointed - Sanitary facilities not so great - hardly accessible for wheelchair users as well as everything else as most of the paths are sandy. Only parking space on a hard road. Parking lot outside the site. When you get a parking card you always have to get out and go to the reception with a wheelchair ideal. restaurant menu very manageable: 3 pizzas and 4 types of pasta with 2 sauces, no salads. Very limited choice in the supermarket. Very few shopping opportunities in Ermelo. Ideal with a dog. You can use the little doors in the barbed wire fence(!) and then you are directly in the forest. There is no dog run. It was nice that the outdoor pool was already open.

"Pair - Bungalow is ok...except for tea towels bed linen ..garbage bag for 6 people 1 too little...and 1 roll of toilet paper unfortunately also too little for 6 people..you have to go buy everything first which is not good...otherwise recommendable

" - We stayed at Camping de Paalberg in Ermelo at the end of April. The campsite makes a well-maintained impression from A to Z and gives the guest the impression of being in a park, with tall pine trees alternating with plantings that don't give the impression of being in the undergrowth of a forest! outside the site there are almost endless cycle paths in the countryside up to extensive heathland in front of Ermelo. the small town actually offers everything you need for a vacation on a campsite and can be reached by bike in about 15 minutes. the campsite has an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor pool and a paddling pool for the little ones. The CP has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a paddling pool for the little ones.the use of the baths is included in the price.for children there are several playgrounds, partly also in the round areas of the Wwg.pitches, also a bouncy mountain, beach and volleyball court, mini golf and in front of the site entrance a large high ropes course which can be used for an entrance fee.in the area of the outdoor pool is a small restaurant with the usual food in Holland.The pitches for caravans are larger than average and are equipped with electricity and cable TV, as reception via satellite antenna is not possible everywhere due to the trees.After setting up the caravan, the car must be parked outside in front of the reception in a large parking lot.This eliminates any traffic noise and annoying door slamming.It takes some getting used to but it's good! In the well-stocked camping store you can get everything you need and freshly baked bread rolls every morning. The reception at the reception was above average friendly! The average price of almost €30 may seem high but is understandable due to the leisure facilities (baths etc.). In the early and late season the price with ADAC Camp Card is €16.

Recreatiepark De Paalberg is a 5-star holiday park and campsite located in the heart of the Veluwe forest near Ermelo, the Netherlands.
